Our Children and Youth Ministry supports parents by giving their kids a place to enjoy and actively participate in the faith community.
Our commitment is to provide engaging programs for children and youth that are relevant to their lives and help them grow in understanding and connection to Jesus.
All our lessons and activities align to the teachings of the Episcopal Church.
For information about the Children and Youth Ministry, contact our office at admin@ignatiusantioch.org.
Children and Youth are guided by trained parish volunteers in lessons aligned to the liturgical calendar. Lessons include hands-on art, writing, and more.
Some examples include:
• Bringing the Bible Readings and Stories to Life
• Understanding Jesus as a Young Person
• Prayer for Young People
Our Prayerground is a space at the front of the sanctuary where young children and their parents can experience worship with age-appropriate materials.
We welcome families with young children to join us in Sunday worship by making a space especially for young minds, ears, and eyes to engage in prayer in their best way.
We have an unstaffed nursery available during both 8AM and 10AM services for feeding, diaper changes, etc. Toys and other toddler activities are available for big siblings to play with.
